Heart leads towards adventure

Dear friends,

Every day I visit a finnish reiki web site, which has this random message from angels waiting for me every single day. Today it was about adventure. The free translation of the message goes something like this:
"Life is an adventure. Be prepared for unexpected. Grab every chance and make the most of it. Angel wisdom suggests that give away every routine and habit that keeps you standing still. Do different kind of things and go to realize the wonders of the world.
If your path seems dark, ask angels to light up your way. Be keen and brave to explore new things. These magnetic features attract wealth, open career paths and add spice to your relationships. Face the adventures of life eagerly."

Too often one leaves the doors of possibilities closed. To me it sometimes is even hard to see all the opportunities awaiting. The routines and daily tasks overwhelm you day after day and one seems to forget, what was the most important thing. The hardest part is to realize, that the values you represent by making the choices you make every day, are not the ones that you thought you would represent. That leaves me puzzled. Which one am I? The one making choices from the heart, or the one that let´s circumstances lead the choices?
To me answer is clear. The choices I make have to come from the heart. Otherwise I am unhappy.
But no, that is not so easy. When choices come from the heart, it often contradicts with the views of other people. That usually leaves me outside my comfort zone. I made a point in my work not to be negative. I was surpriced how threathning that was to some people. But what I also noticed, that I started to attract positive people around me.

Do you think that choices from heart only contradict other people? No that is not so simple either. Because the hardest part to live up to your values and let your heart lead your way is the voice of supposed reason in your head, yes, the ego, that screams when left malnourished. The ego likes it, when it is in charge. The ego is the one I wish to leave unemployed. When all the egos of this world would shut up for one day, the life on this planet would never be the same again. Now there is a dream.

Now I think I am ready to go write down my first goal. My goal is to silence the voice of my ego and let my heart lead the way.
